For these images, not only were all of those conditions a factor, but the bioluminescence is completely unpredictable in how long it will last, how intense it will be, or even what location it will be in. Otherwise, it is a big and bright screen surrounded by various controls. Of course, the S1H is also there if you want to push all the way to 6K. It has a single SD slot with support for the latest cards and the fastest UHS-II transfer speeds—you'll want to buy the fastest possible card, currently around 300MBps, if you want to take advantage of Raw video recording. The focus tracking mode doesn't work so well, especially in continuous AF mode — it can lock on to a subject relatively well and follow it around the frame as long as the movement isn't too erratic, but even if the focus markers are over the subject, the AF can hunt quite badly and throw some shots in a burst completely out of focus. The format gives filmmakers incredible latitude when adjusting the look of the their images and extending brightness and shadow detail — making ProRes RAW ideal for HDR workflows. The fp captures shots in Adobe DNG, so there's no need to update your processing software to garner support. I didn't receive one to try with the fp, but have used a similar accessory with the Sigma dp Quattro line of fixed-lens cameras. Models with phase detection systems, like the Sony a7 III and , are a bit faster, doing the same in about 0. Use of the MC-21 increases the compatibility and broadens the choice for L-Mount cameras and lenses, thus greatly enhancing the scalability of the L-Mount system. I shot it as a single exposure, I took multiple exposures that I could turn in to a timelapse or use to stack and reduce noise, and I used a star tracker to take an even, long exposure of the stars. This a feature no-one paid much attention to previously but has suddenly become relevant in the global coronavirus crisis, where home working has become the norm for many This has left other makers scrambling to make their own software solutions, and some cameras simply can't do this without an external capture device, so Sigma was ahead of the curve here. CinemaDNG footage playback• 1-inch LCD monitor, which is touch-sensitive, though only partially. There are a frightening selection of Color options too, including the 'Teal and Orange' look that's currently in vogue in Hollywood movies. Contrast focus slower than rivals• If you drop the resolution down to 1080p, you can get up to 120 fps, which is great.
